Process Reengineering

With the decision to employ EDM/ECM technology, the opportunity to refine and improve business processes (BPM) is presented. We encourage our clients to begin by reviewing and defining current business practices and processes, which is known as constructing an 'As Is' model. While we can automate processes which have evolved over the years, this is a great opportunity to consider what modifications and refinements to the existing business process are going to have long-term benefits. After all, how often do you get a chance to 'rethink' how you would like to have things done?
 

RE approaches business process reengineering using a field-proven Business Solution Framework. We have blended the most effective aspects of Structured Systems Analysis and Design Methodology (SSADM), Enterprise Process Management (EPM), and Six Sigma methodologies. We understand process, design, implementation and Return On Investment. We make this usable in the real world.

The five phases of our business solution framework:


Define - Define and document business "problem". Establish initial scope.
Measure - Assess, measure and document business "problem". Develop "As Is" model of existing process.
Analyze - Evaluate universe of possible solutions then define and document selected solution(s), establish user requirements and criteria for success. Develop "To Be" model of new process.
Improve - Design & develop improved system/process using selected technologies, and prepare for implementation. Deploy improved system/process
Control - Manage and control new system through system/process monitoring
